My Background
I bring 30+ years of experience leading in highly technical, mission-driven, high-stakes environments—where decisions carry real consequences and leadership challenges are as much about judgment and people as they are about technology.
I’ve sat in the seat where clarity is hard-won and the pressure to get it right is constant—often in organizations where priorities compete, incentives are misaligned, authority is matrixed, and responsibility can outpace control. My career has been spent at the intersection of technology, strategy, and leadership, where complexity is the norm and there is rarely a simple answer.
That lived experience shapes how I work with leaders today. I am also an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), grounding my coaching in globally recognized standards and ethics.
As leaders advance, the challenges don’t disappear—they change. The stakes increase, decisions get lonelier, and organizational dynamics become more consequential. What worked earlier doesn’t always work at the next level. In those moments, what’s often needed isn’t another framework—it’s structured space to think clearly, test assumptions, and regain perspective.
Why I Coach
Over the years, I noticed a pattern: capable leaders—often in technical and operational roles—weren’t struggling because they lacked competence. They were struggling because the environment had become more complex and the expectations more contradictory.
Many senior leaders are:
Making consequential decisions without a trusted sounding board
Operating under pressure to project certainty even when uncertainty is real
Navigating enterprise trade-offs, stakeholder friction, and shifting incentives
Managing difficult peers, resistant teams, or “invisible” power dynamics
Carrying responsibility without clean authority to match it
Pathway Decoded exists to meet leaders in that space.
My Coaching Approach
My approach is practical, candid, and grounded in real-world experience. I don’t offer one-size-fits-all frameworks or performative positivity. Instead, I partner with leaders to help them:
Make sense of complex situations
Clarify priorities and trade-offs
Strengthen judgment and decision-making under constraint
Navigate institutional dynamics and organizational friction
Lead with confidence and credibility in high-stakes environments
Coaching with me isn’t about telling you what to do. It’s about helping you think more clearly, see what matters most, and move forward with intention—especially when the path isn’t obvious.
I bring structure when things feel messy, perspective when the signal is buried in noise, and calm when the stakes are high.
Who I Work With
I primarily work with senior technical leaders and executives, including:
Executives facing enterprise-level decisions and organizational complexity
Senior technical leaders navigating expanded scope, influence, and accountability
Leaders operating inside matrixed organizations where power and incentives shape outcomes
Much of my work has been with women in senior technical and leadership roles, and I work with leaders of all backgrounds who are navigating complexity and want clarity, confidence, and sound judgment.
Why Pathway Decoded?
The name Pathway Decoded reflects the reality leaders face today: there isn’t always a clear roadmap. The path forward often has to be interpreted—and shaped—in real time, inside real constraints.
My role is to help decode that path: clarify options, surface trade-offs, and support thoughtful, confident leadership when decisions matter and time is limited.
