My Background

I bring more than 30 years of experience leading in highly technical, mission-driven, high-stakes environments, where decisions carry real consequences and leadership challenges are as much about judgment and people as they are about technology.

I’ve operated in roles where clarity is hard-won and the pressure to get it right is constant, often inside organizations where priorities compete, incentives are misaligned, authority is matrixed, and responsibility can outpace control.

My career has been shaped at the intersection of technology, strategy, and leadership, where complexity is the norm and there is rarely a simple answer.

I am also an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), grounding my advisory and coaching work in recognized standards and professional ethics.

The Reality Leaders Face

As leaders advance, the challenges don’t disappear – they change.

The stakes increase.
Decisions become more visible and more consequential.
The space to think clearly often becomes more limited.

What worked earlier doesn’t always work at the next level.

In these environments, what’s often needed isn’t another framework. It’s structured space to think clearly, test assumptions, and determine a path forward.

Why This Work?

Over time, I’ve observed a consistent pattern:

Capable leaders are not struggling because they lack competence.  They are navigating environments where expectations are contradictory, incentives are not aligned, trade-offs are unavoidable, authority is incomplete, organizational dynamics shape outcomes in ways that are not always visible

Many senior leaders are:

* Making consequential decisions without a trusted sounding board

* Operating under pressure to project certainty when uncertainty is real

* Navigating stakeholder friction and enterprise trade-offs

* Managing difficult peers, resistant teams, or complex power dynamics

* Carrying responsibility without full control

Pathway Decoded exists to support leaders operating in this space.

My Approach

My work sits at the intersection of strategy and leadership.

I partner with leaders to help them:

  • Clarify what is actually happening beneath the surface
  • Identify viable paths forward under real constraints
  • Strengthen judgment and decision-making
  • Navigate institutional dynamics and organizational friction
  • Move forward with confidence in complex, high-stakes environments

This is not a one-size-fits-all model.

It is a practical, candid, and confidential partnership grounded in real-world experience.

I don’t focus on abstract frameworks or performative positivity. I focus on helping leaders think clearly, see what matters, and act with intention.

Who I Work With

I work primarily with senior technical leaders and executives, including:

  • Executives facing enterprise-level decisions and organizational complexity
  • Senior technical leaders navigating expanded scope, influence, and accountability
  • Leaders operating inside matrixed organizations where power and incentives shape outcomes

Much of my work has been with women in senior technical and leadership roles, and I work with leaders of all backgrounds who are navigating complexity and want clarity, confidence, and sound judgment.

Why Pathway Decoded?

The name Pathway Decoded reflects the reality leaders face:

There is rarely a clear roadmap.

The path forward often has to be interpreted and shaped in real time, inside real constraints.

My role is to help decode that path by clarifying options, surfacing trade-offs, and supporting thoughtful, confident leadership when decisions matter.

If you are operating at enterprise scale and would benefit from a thoughtful, strategic sounding board, I welcome a conversation.
